TANAGURA CR Chart

Mask or Menace previous game CR chart found here, this will have some influence over his CR now in Tanagura should he meet anyone here who he knew back in his previous game. Some of it will be show below though and edited as necessary.

♣ KILLUA killuwatt ▪ ▪ Killua is someone Hisoka saw a good deal of during his stay on a planet before this one. During that time he even saw him more than he had ever seen Killua and surprisingly enough had some enjoyable moments with him as well. The boy had even visited him in prison once, surprise surprise. It grew a new fondness for him, one he could allow to have happen without Illumi breathing down his neck, Illumi who had not been around much then. Hisoka had already been curious about Killua before but now he's more inclined to go seeking after him. Let's see how well that goes over in Tanagura though with a Killua that won't remember what he does, and a stalking brother Illumi to keep his overbearing tabs on them.

♥ CHROLLO cephalothorax ▪ ▪ In the beginning, it was easy. He wanted him, that was obvious. Wanted to fight him, so much so that he pretended to be in his band of thieves for years just to get close enough to him. Hisoka never managed to get that fight though, and when he finally got close? When the secret was out when he was found to be but a false limb of the Spider, that group, and he finally got close to Chrollo? He only ended up finding out the Troupe Leader lost his Nen. Disappointment. But Hisoka's desire to fight him never died, not when there was still a possibility of getting Chrollo's Nen back. So a deal was struck. He'd help him get his powers back. And Hisoka would get his fight. And then they were here, suddenly, in this new world. Chrollo indeed had his powers back but not to their full potential. Again they met, again they struck a deal. Though this one was different. Hisoka would help Chrollo in general, regain more powers, power he lost, be an ally but only so much. And in return Chrollo would keep Hisoka 'entertained', keep him out of trouble, quell that bloodlust, and eventually give Hisoka the fight he's desired for so long. But all that's just an intro. Things have changed. 'Quell' that bloodlust meant more than just busy Hisoka and fill his time, to Hisoka it meant more, it meant intimacy. He wanted flesh and blood and if he wasn't going to get them in a fight, he'd do with something just and primal. Perhaps it was a mix of the sex and just the massive amount of time they've spent together. Either way something's changed for him as far as the other man's concerned. Chrollo isn't someone he just wants a fight from anymore, though he always wanted all of him. To kill him, to take his last breath from him, but now 'all' has become really that. Hisoka's never been around someone so much in such a small amount of time. Never allowed himself to grow truly fond of someone, and here? It's actually happened for once. Around someone he finds so intriguing and impressive near daily that it's difficult to take his eyes off him without keeping the image of him in his mind. He won't say it. But then he doesn't need to. If he's ever been able to love someone, Chrollo's made that possible. And still Hisoka would kill him, though, perhaps now, only because death doesn't matter as much. Though by the time that chapter came to a close in that world in Mask or Menace, their relationship had grown to become something very accepted and routine. Not only was Chrollo the first person he had ever been around to such an extent as to feel something substantial for them, but he finally did come to say he loved him, and meant it. It was new, strange, but he gained a rush from the word, liking how it made him feel. It's these feelings which led to him accepting Chrollo's wish to leave the Spiders alone and to even be more 'friendly' with them should he see them again. He agreed if it meant continuing to enjoy Chrollo's company and attention as he has been. Of course, once they both left that game and returned to their canons, things would change. Hisoka is now arriving in Tanagura after fighting Chrollo in his own world, being killed by him, and then reviving, only to immediately got after the Phantom Troupe and kill two of it's members. Hisoka of course doesn't remember anything from MoM after he returned to his canon, but in Tanagura will will not only remember everything from his time in MoM and his feelings for Chrollo, but will also remember that not only did he get his fight from Chrollo and lose, but he killed two of the Spiders after, which directly goes against what he had told Chrollo he'd do in MoM. He sure had no control over it considering he hadn't remember everything from that world they were both taken to, but it's bound to cause some problems, especially since to Chrollo, the Troupe might as well be his family. Yikes... Chrollo too told him to tell him if anything happens but... telling him this could potentially lead to an end, which would suck for him. It's not up to him to decide if he wants to live yet another lie in favour of basking in his own enjoyment, or if he wants to stay true to these newer feelings of adoration he has for Chrollo, and tell him, risking it all in an attempt to satisfy some Chrollo had asked of him before. He's hid things before and it didn't end well, so it only makes sense not to do that again... but. Man it'd be shitty to end it all this something like this, huh?

♥ ILLUMI pinsandneedles ▪ ▪ Illumi has always been Hisoka closest 'friend'. And by that I mean someone he quite often trades favours with. Illumi is entertaining and emotionally detached from everyone else but his family enough to make it easy to spend time with him without worrying about anything more developing. Powerful, smart, rich, Illumi's a great 'friend' to have when you like having someone easy to get ahold of that you can use. In the game previous to this though, Illumi very often disappeared and reappeared, so it started to get Hisoka a little more flippant than usually concerning him. Was he going to be around? Was he going to be gone again? He didn't purposely distance himself from the guy but he definitely started to expect him to come to him less than he normally did in canon. It'll still be nice to see him again in Tanagura though. It's been so long!

♥ GON totallyfine ▪ ▪ Someone Hisoka met during his second time taking the Hunter Exam in his home world, Gon continues to be a a surprise each time they meet. A fountain of seemingly unlimited potential, Gon excites him over and over again, something he hasn't felt this intense since he first took interest in Chrollo. Something about Gon... shines. Burns, makes it seem like he'll truly become something one day, or could. So Hisoka's watched him. Even pushed him. Gave Gon a desire to become stronger, to become more, and in a way, is the reason both Gon and Killua ever learned to use their Nen at such an early age. Hisoka's interest in Gon exceeds most, even to the point where he's developed a need to protect and save him, only to make sure he ripens into something truly worth it to kill one day. He's felt the same even in MoM, though Gon's time there was fleeting. Hisoka nearly got to begin training and helping Gon work on his Nen after the boy asked him, only for him to be ported out soon after. How disappointing. It's often that Hisoka finds himself thinking of that entrancing boy, even hopes he'll return, only so he can continue to watch him develop. It'll be great to see that Gon is here again in Tanagura! But possibly less great to find Gon has lost his Nen...
