♣ KILLUA  killuwatt ▪ ▪ Killua is someone Hisoka saw a good deal of during his stay on a planet before this one. During that time he even saw him more than he had ever seen Killua and surprisingly enough had some enjoyable moments with him as well. The boy had even visited him in prison once, surprise surprise. It grew a new fondness for him, one he could allow to have happen without Illumi breathing down his neck, Illumi who had not been around much then. Hisoka had already been curious about Killua before but now he's more inclined to go seeking after him. Let's see how well that goes over in Tanagura though with a Killua that won't remember what he does, and a stalking brother Illumi to keep his overbearing tabs on them. |
♥ CHROLLO  cephalothorax ▪ ▪ In the beginning, it was easy. He wanted him, that was obvious. Wanted to fight him, so much so that he pretended to be in his band of thieves for years just to get close enough to him. Hisoka never managed to get that fight though, and when he finally got close? When the secret was out when he was found to be but a false limb of the Spider, that group, and he finally got close to Chrollo? He only ended up finding out the Troupe Leader lost his Nen. Disappointment. But Hisoka's desire to fight him never died, not when there was still a possibility of getting Chrollo's Nen back. So a deal was struck. He'd help him get his powers back. And Hisoka would get his fight. And then they were here, suddenly, in this new world. Chrollo indeed had his powers back but not to their full potential. Again they met, again they struck a deal. Though this one was different. Hisoka would help Chrollo in general, regain more powers, power he lost, be an ally but only so much. And in return Chrollo would keep Hisoka 'entertained', keep him out of trouble, quell that bloodlust, and eventually give Hisoka the fight he's desired for so long. But all that's just an intro. Things have changed. 'Quell' that bloodlust meant more than just busy Hisoka and fill his time, to Hisoka it meant more, it meant intimacy. He wanted flesh and blood and if he wasn't going to get them in a fight, he'd do with something just and primal. Perhaps it was a mix of the sex and just the massive amount of time they've spent together. Either way something's changed for him as far as the other man's concerned. Chrollo isn't someone he just wants a fight from anymore, though he always wanted all of him. To kill him, to take his last breath from him, but now 'all' has become really that. Hisoka's never been around someone so much in such a small amount of time. Never allowed himself to grow truly fond of someone, and here? It's actually happened for once. Around someone he finds so intriguing and impressive near daily that it's difficult to take his eyes off him without keeping the image of him in his mind. He won't say it. But then he doesn't need to. If he's ever been able to love someone, Chrollo's made that possible. And still Hisoka would kill him, though, perhaps now, only because death doesn't matter as much. Though by the time that chapter came to a close in that world in Mask or Menace, their relationship had grown to become something very accepted and routine. Not only was Chrollo the first person he had ever been around to such an extent as to feel something substantial for them, but he finally did come to say he loved him, and meant it. It was new, strange, but he gained a rush from the word, liking how it made him feel. It's these feelings which led to him accepting Chrollo's wish to leave the Spiders alone and to even be more 'friendly' with them should he see them again. He agreed if it meant continuing to enjoy Chrollo's company and attention as he has been. Of course, once they both left that game and returned to their canons, things would change. Hisoka is now arriving in Tanagura after fighting Chrollo in his own world, being killed by him, and then reviving, only to immediately got after the Phantom Troupe and kill two of it's members. Hisoka of course doesn't remember anything from MoM after he returned to his canon, but in Tanagura will will not only remember everything from his time in MoM and his feelings for Chrollo, but will also remember that not only did he get his fight from Chrollo and lose, but he killed two of the Spiders after, which directly goes against what he had told Chrollo he'd do in MoM. He sure had no control over it considering he hadn't remember everything from that world they were both taken to, but it's bound to cause some problems, especially since to Chrollo, the Troupe might as well be his family. Yikes... Chrollo too told him to tell him if anything happens but... telling him this could potentially lead to an end, which would suck for him. It's not up to him to decide if he wants to live yet another lie in favour of basking in his own enjoyment, or if he wants to stay true to these newer feelings of adoration he has for Chrollo, and tell him, risking it all in an attempt to satisfy some Chrollo had asked of him before. He's hid things before and it didn't end well, so it only makes sense not to do that again... but. Man it'd be shitty to end it all this something like this, huh? |
♥ ILLUMI  pinsandneedles ▪ ▪ Illumi has always been Hisoka closest 'friend'. And by that I mean someone he quite often trades favours with. Illumi is entertaining and emotionally detached from everyone else but his family enough to make it easy to spend time with him without worrying about anything more developing. Powerful, smart, rich, Illumi's a great 'friend' to have when you like having someone easy to get ahold of that you can use. In the game previous to this though, Illumi very often disappeared and reappeared, so it started to get Hisoka a little more flippant than usually concerning him. Was he going to be around? Was he going to be gone again? He didn't purposely distance himself from the guy but he definitely started to expect him to come to him less than he normally did in canon. It'll still be nice to see him again in Tanagura though. It's been so long! |
♥ GON  totallyfine ▪ ▪ Someone Hisoka met during his second time taking the Hunter Exam in his home world, Gon continues to be a a surprise each time they meet. A fountain of seemingly unlimited potential, Gon excites him over and over again, something he hasn't felt this intense since he first took interest in Chrollo. Something about Gon... shines. Burns, makes it seem like he'll truly become something one day, or could. So Hisoka's watched him. Even pushed him. Gave Gon a desire to become stronger, to become more, and in a way, is the reason both Gon and Killua ever learned to use their Nen at such an early age. Hisoka's interest in Gon exceeds most, even to the point where he's developed a need to protect and save him, only to make sure he ripens into something truly worth it to kill one day. He's felt the same even in MoM, though Gon's time there was fleeting. Hisoka nearly got to begin training and helping Gon work on his Nen after the boy asked him, only for him to be ported out soon after. How disappointing. It's often that Hisoka finds himself thinking of that entrancing boy, even hopes he'll return, only so he can continue to watch him develop. It'll be great to see that Gon is here again in Tanagura! But possibly less great to find Gon has lost his Nen... |

Hisoka will infact be a CRAU from his previous game MoM. While for the most part Hisoka remains relatively unchanged due to his own nature, some things have happened to him in his previous game that will affect his personality to a degree.
Hisoka has never been known to stay around people or long. Blame it on his fickle nature or that he gets bored easily, but just like his ability, Bungee Gum, he most of the time attaches and detaches his life from others as he sees fit.
In Mask or Menace, this was usually the case, until Chrollo appeared.
He finally had his chance for a fight, but a quick thinking Chrollo struck a deal with him there: If Hisoka helped him gain more abilities, he'd repay Hisoka with his time and 'entertain him'. Hisoka of course was interested by the idea and took it, thinking he'd change his mind at some point anyway- he often does.
But over time he never changed his mind. It continued to be fun to play this game, but at the same time he ended up being around Chrollo far more than he had ever really been around someone before. Not only that, but Chrollo never disappointed. He always rolled with his punches, always kept him entertained, and eventually it got to the point where Hisoka not only didn't want to "unstick" from the guy, but he couldn't anymore. Hisoka is, afterall, still a man, still a human, and everyone is able to get attached whether they like it or not. He managed to avoid it all this time only for to finally happen without realizing it; because he'd never ended up around someone so entertaining to him for such a long period of time.
While this does affect Hisoka to a degree in that he actually cares about someone, it only applies to Chrollo. He isn't the sort of person to go through a huge personality change just because he fell in love with some guy, and honestly, while he does feel deeply for Chrollo, it's still to his own gain. He does everything by him because it makes himself feel good over all. He'll still be the same as ever to anyone else, though he'll be a little touchy concerning Chrollo due to his emotional attachment to him. It's a sort of soft spot for him, much like his soft spot for Gon started to manifest in canon (EX: when he wins the volleyball game just because he knows Gon wants it).

Hisoka has the ability to use nen, which is a technique one can learn to hone and train their aura/life force to fight and protect them. This includes using your aura to enhance attributes like your defense, senses like sight and smell, speed and strength, all on either your entire body or on parts of your body. Able to hide your aura or envelope things in your aura, and emit your aura at things or people. Aura can also be used on items to strengthen them and treat them like an extension of your body (Hisoka uses it on playing cards to make them strong enough to use as edge weapons).
One is also able to use nen/aura to attack others in various ways. Everyone that can use nen fall into one of six different categories. Hisoka falls under the classification of Transmuter. Meaning he can give his aura properties of something else, like fire or lightning. It depends on the transmuter and what properties they prefer, and people in all categories can create special skills for themselves. For Hisoka, he decided to give his aura properties like gum and rubber. Allowing him to stretch and stick his aura to things. His aura can only be removed by his will and can't be broken. This ability making his aura like gum/rubber, he called 'Bungee Gum' or 'Elastic Love.'
Hisoka has also developed an ability using his aura called 'Texture Surprise' or 'Flimsy Lies'. This allows him to apply his aura to any surface and change it's appearance. This can be as intricate as changing a few words on an essay on a sheet of paper, to making his clothing appear undamaged, or his skin appeal unharmed. Though in order to cover things that have broken surfaces he must apply his aura to something thin like cloth or paper that is intact and then apply it to the surface he wants to change. This is only a change in appearance though. If he uses cloth to make look like skin and places it on himself, someone can touch him and feel that it's cloth and infact not skin. Hence the 'texture surprise', the texture usually changing in favour of a different appearance. The surface can only be unstuck by Hisoka, just like his Bungee Gum. But it will continue to have the properties of paper unless he uses his nen to change it further.
CRAU In Mask or Menace, Hisoka spent his time honing a new ability which he called 'Lovely Mask' or 'Performer's Paste.' This ability allows him to pull and spread his Nen over someone's appearance and copy it. Not only can he copy what someone looks like and apply it to himself, but he can also cover his face with his aura and sculpt entirely new appearances from scratch. This ability is normally not the sort he'd create, but it had become useful to him in MoM to hide his appearance. In Tana he will be able to do the same, including changing his hair colour with it. He'll remain a Mongrel though as far as his ID is concerned.
He's shown to be extremely strong in canon and highly skilled using his nen abilities, especially after his 'death' and revival. It seems that his ability to control his Nen is even powerful enough to bring himself back from the dead, as well as to reconstruct and maintain body parts he had blown off during his fight with Chrollo. Most of the time, it is centered around being challenged, and enjoying the challenge as a whole, even without there being a direct win to either side. This could mean a fight he's actively in, or a potential fight he is waiting for down the line.
A fight with someone working to beat Hisoka. A potential fight with someone Hisoka believes is strong. An event that can better someone else in hope they'll become stronger in the long run. Helping out someone to ensure they don't die in order to protect their future to potentially fight them. All things Hisoka is shown to be doing and don't make the mistake of ever thinking it's for anyone but himself. A true chaotic neutral at heart.
Hisoka lives and breathes entertainment and is shown lying, cheating, killing, helping, leaking information, and just about anything to achieve this level of entertainment. An over all lack of morals in general makes it difficult to place him as well. Not only will he help save people, but he proves to not mind killing people in the process. This is seen in several instances, including when he kills Killua's butler, Gotoh, when he gets in the way of stopping Killua from potentially killing himself and everyone he knows (ep 142).
Seem nice, to a degree? Despite the death?
Well it's not really, at all. He only kills Gotoh because a) He's one of the people that could die by Killua's actions, and b) If Killua or Gon die, he won't be able to fight them in the future.
Most of this probably wouldn't be as possible without his strong sense of confidence. It's seen in everything he does. How strong his posture is, the saunter in his walk, the calm way he usually speaks. Even in how he feels safe enough to just take moments to himself to think about how turned on he is in certain situations (ep 36)(ep 54). A man not as confident in his own abilities wouldn't allow his mind to drift off so easily. It's said at one point how confident he is during a fight between Gon and Hisoka by another character, Hisoka's main mistake is that he knows he'll win, showing he is rather full of himself and his abilities (ep 36). Though due to how strong he is? It's obvious he worked very hard in order to better himself. Bettering himself though, could easily of stemmed out of wanting to fight stronger and stronger opponents, thus sky rocketing his own abilities and making the search more difficult for true challenges.
The patience is easily something he could of gained throughout time, due to how strong he ended up getting. Most likely, when he was younger and weaker, the desire to fight those stronger was a lot easier met. But due to becoming extremely strong himself, he had to become a more patient person in order to be satisfied with the fights he gets into. On several occasions he is shown barely putting effort into fights knowing he won't need to to win, only to allow the other party a win so they continue to feel inspired to fight him in the future and get stronger. Though as soon as he feels they have no more potential for getting stronger? He's done with them. Kastro, a man who he beat once in the Heaven's Arena, showed promise before and thus was spared. Though the second time he and Hisoka fight, Hisoka makes it clear that he can't see Kastro improving anymore. And after he played with Kastro a little to at least see what he's learned since their first fight- entertaining himself despite his sureness of winning- he beats Kastro rather easily, and ends all interest he has in the man (ep 32). This shows that he's open to hiding his own abilities rather actively in favour of playing passively in a fight to see someone else's powers. Shows that he seems to prefer a more complete win, and will go for something more final instead of merely killing someone before he can know what they can do. It also shows he doesn't take much seriously. When you never really go into a fight really trying? Yeah, either you're really damn cocky, or have the ability to back up the way you act. And in Hisoka's case, it's both.
He is often shown changing his mind, though it usually only seems that way to outside sources. Most of the time Hisoka already has a general idea of how he'll go about something. And when it comes down to it? His loyalty has always been to himself.
Says he'll help the Phantom Troupe? Appears to, then ends up hindering them, but knew that would always be a possibility himself because he always was there for his own goals (season 3). First goal being to fight the Troupe's leader- he just has to appear like he's helping them or else he won't get an opportunity for what he wants.
Says he'll help Illumi (season 6), Killua's brother, stop Killua from using their third brother Alluka's ability to heal Gon? Only does this to stop himself from dying, and to stop Gon and Killua from dying and losing those fights in the future. But he also wants to save Gon and that ability could heal him, so he hinders Illumi as well in favour of helping Killua. He even contemplates killing Killua once just to make Illumi mad (ep 143). It would sacrifice Killua's potential fight with Hisoka, but would make Illumi chase after Hisoka in anger, which seems to appeal to Hisoka's desire for a true challenge. Though he decides against it as soon as he learns Killua's actions will not lead to anyone dying, and because killing Killua most likely leads in Gon's death. And he can't really have losing TWO potential awesome fights in the future. That just will not do.
It could be said that this ideal of everything for yourself was something he just needed to have in his life to survive. Considering he is most likely from Meteor City, a city where everyone leaves what they choose to abandon, where no one truly has a family- Hisoka could of adopted a selfish mindset just to get by. Everything for himself, food water, effort all needed to be expended in order to help himself because there really was no one to him anyway. Having to worry so much about number one eventually led to how he is now. Even more greedy, hedonistic, and manipulative.
Everything he does is for that need to challenge himself, to truly challenge himself. He's asked at one point by Kurapika while Hisoka is helping Kurapika against the the Phantom Troupe- why do you fight? Why do you want to challenge the Troupe's boss?

Though- even when he does fight Chrollo finally, and loses... guess what. It only leads to him going after him again. Hisoka even dies as a result of this fight, but his desire to keep going, to please that ever beating lust for more, it bleeds into his Nen. In this series, it is said that Nen can become even stronger in death. If you want something enough, you Nen can continue on after you've been finished. Well in this case, Hisoka's desire to keep living not only makes his own Nen continue on, but it makes it start up his heart again, kicking him back to life. He's pretty much the definition of 'thirst'.

It looks pretty comfortable, warm too but... where's the person filming this? Are they filming off a palm reader? Your question will be answered soon enough because the view turns. It seems who ever started this feed wanted you to get a look at the bathroom he was in- that or he just stopped giving a shit for a second.
Either way the view changes to show a man with bright pink hair lounging in an overly soapy bath. The bath is huge and gorgeous like the rest of the bathroom. The guy's not too bad looking himself, his appearance having a sort of glamour glow from the steam filling the space around him.
"Mmmh~" A soft hum leaves him, looking up then to the camera. He tilts his head, a slim smile on his face.
"Anyone have any plans today? Something fun?" His gaze narrows, the corners of his mouth peel wider in a broader in an even more serpentine smile. "If so, is there room for one more? I promise to be good~❤"

Though as soon as he feels they have no more potential for getting stronger? He's done with them. Kastro, a man who he beat once in the Heaven's Arena, showed promise before and thus was spared. Though the second time he and Hisoka fight, Hisoka makes it clear that he can't see Kastro improving anymore. And after he played with Kastro a little to at least see what he's learned since their first fight- entertaining himself despite his sureness of winning- he beats Kastro rather easily, and ends all interest he has in the man (ep 32). This shows that he's open to hiding his own abilities rather actively in favour of playing passively in a fight to see someone else's powers. Shows that he seems to prefer a more complete win, and will go for something more final instead of merely killing someone before he can know what they can do. It also shows he doesn't take much seriously. When you never really go into a fight really trying? Yeah, either you're really damn cocky, or have the ability to back up the way you act. And in Hisoka's case, it's both.
He is often shown changing his mind, though it usually only seems that way to outside sources. Most of the time Hisoka already has a general idea of how he'll go about something. And when it comes down to it? His loyalty has always been to himself.
Says he'll help the Phantom Troupe? Appears to, then ends up hindering them, but knew that would always be a possibility himself because he always was there for his own goals (season 3). First goal being to fight the Troupe's leader- he just has to appear like he's helping them or else he won't get an opportunity for what he wants.
Says he'll help Illumi (season 6), Killua's brother, stop Killua from using their third brother Alluka's ability to heal Gon? Only does this to stop himself from dying, and to stop Gon and Killua from dying and losing those fights in the future. But he also wants to save Gon and that ability could heal him, so he hinders Illumi as well in favour of helping Killua. He even contemplates killing Killua once just to make Illumi mad (ep 143). It would sacrifice Killua's potential fight with Hisoka, but would make Illumi chase after Hisoka in anger, which seems to appeal to Hisoka's desire for a true challenge. Though he decides against it as soon as he learns Killua's actions will not lead to anyone dying, and because killing Killua most likely leads in Gon's death. And he can't really have losing TWO potential awesome fights in the future. That just will not do.
It could be said that this ideal of everything for yourself was something he just needed to have in his life to survive. Considering he is most likely from Meteor City, a city where everyone leaves what they choose to abandon, where no one truly has a family- Hisoka could of adopted a selfish mindset just to get by. Everything for himself, food water, effort all needed to be expended in order to help himself because there really was no one to him anyway. Having to worry so much about number one eventually led to how he is now. Even more greedy, hedonistic, and manipulative.
Everything he does is for that need to challenge himself, to truly challenge himself. He's asked at one point by Kurapika while Hisoka is helping Kurapika against the the Phantom Troupe- why do you fight? Why do you want to challenge the Troupe's boss?
"Because he is strong..."
Is it to see who's stronger, test your own strength?
"Perhaps... but, it turns me on... thinking about fighting the boss..." (ep 54)
Though- even when he does fight Chrollo finally, and loses... guess what. It only leads to him going after him again. Hisoka even dies as a result of this fight, but his desire to keep going, to please that ever beating lust for more, it bleeds into his Nen. In this series, it is said that Nen can become even stronger in death. If you want something enough, you Nen can continue on after you've been finished. Well in this case, Hisoka's desire to keep living not only makes his own Nen continue on, but it makes it start up his heart again, kicking him back to life. He's pretty much the definition of 'thirst'.

The video begins showing the beautiful inside of an Eos Tower bathroom. It's huge, modern yet elegant. Steam lingers in your view and it has an almost pinkish hue to it when you stare long enough. It looks pretty comfortable, warm too but... where's the person filming this? Are they filming off a palm reader? Your question will be answered soon enough because the view turns. It seems who ever started this feed wanted you to get a look at the bathroom he was in- that or he just stopped giving a shit for a second.
Either way the view changes to show a man with bright pink hair lounging in an overly soapy bath. The bath is huge and gorgeous like the rest of the bathroom. The guy's not too bad looking himself, his appearance having a sort of glamour glow from the steam filling the space around him.
"Mmmh~" A soft hum leaves him, looking up then to the camera. He tilts his head, a slim smile on his face.
"Anyone have any plans today? Something fun?" His gaze narrows, the corners of his mouth peel wider in a broader in an even more serpentine smile. "If so, is there room for one more? I promise to be good~❤"
It's on you if you wanna risk bringing a guy like this to whatever friendly gathering you have going on. Though I guess if it's a sexy gathering, maybe it'd be a good idea? There's obviously mischief running through this guy's veins though. If you take a closer look, at least from the view so far, he doesn't seem to have a Pet Ring on. So what the hell is he doing advertising his time from an Eos Tower bathroom?? Should he even be in there?? It could even be your bathroom... he has no issue getting into rooms through windows.

NEN
Hisoka has the ability to use nen, which is a technique one can learn to hone and train their aura/life force to fight with, protect themselves, heal themselves, copy items, create beasts, and just about anything you can imagine. This includes using your aura to enhance attributes like your defense, senses like sight and smell, speed and strength, all on either your entire body or on parts of your body. Able to hide your aura or envelope things in your aura, and emit your aura at things or people. Aura can also be used on items to strengthen them and treat them like an extension of your body (Hisoka uses it on playing cards to make them strong enough to use as edge weapons).
One is also able to use nen/aura to attack others in various ways. Everyone that can use nen fall into one of six different categories (Enhancer, Transmuter, Manipulator, Conjurer, Emitter, and Specialist). Hisoka falls under the classification of Transmuter. Meaning he can give his aura properties of something else, like fire or lightning. It depends on the transmuter and what properties they prefer, and people in all categories can create special skills for themselves.
All Nen users are also able to create personalized abilities with their Nen. These usually fall under whatever class they are, (Transmuter in Hisoka's case), but can also stem from the other classes as well. Though the further you deviate from your own class, the harder the ability will be to learn and create. That, and you will never perfectly master an ability that does not fall under your specific class.
Hisoka, as a Transmuter, specializes in making his aura have the attributes of both Gum and Rubber. His personalized abilities centered around this that will be gone over below are Bungee Gum, Texture Surprise, and Lovely Mask.

Bungee Gum (Elastic Love)
Simply put, Hisoka's aura is able to easily shift to having the properties of both Gum and Rubber. This means he is able to attach and stretch it with will alone and usually by small gestures using his hands and fingers. It's similar to throwing or tossing gum with your hand and sticking it in a long strand to things. He is also able to attach other things to eachother without it sticking to himself at all. Like leaving his aura on the ground only to be stepped on and stuck to someone's shoe. It won't pull like rubber immediately, but will as soon as he activates it. It can only be detached and attached by him.
Bungee Gum can also be activated on himself in defense. Should he be struck by anything or anyone, or have his attacks blocked, his aura will stick to where ever he touches the other person or object. It will then stretch and pull or unattach or detach as he sees fit.
Again it acts like rubber and can be tugged tight, short or long, meaning he can use it merely to glue his feet in place, or use it to pull far and sling shot things. Even using it like a bungee cord on himself or others. It does not always have to stick to things, and can be wrapped around objects as well without it attaching.
Texture Surprise (Flimsy Lies)
This ability allows Hisoka to apply his aura to any surface and change it's appearance.
This can be as intricate as changing a few words on an essay on a sheet of paper, to making his clothing appear undamaged, or his skin appeal unharmed, even changing what you see on a computer screen, though does not extend to moving imagery.
In order to cover things that have broken surfaces he must apply his aura to something thin like cloth or paper that is intact and then apply it to the surface he wants to change. This is only a change in appearance though. If he uses cloth to make it look like skin and places it on himself, someone can touch him and feel that it's cloth and infact not skin. Hence the 'texture surprise', the texture usually changing in favour of a different appearance. The surface can only be unstuck by Hisoka, just like his Bungee Gum. But it will continue to have the properties of paper unless he uses his Nen to change it further.
Lovely Mask (Performer's Paste)
Lovely Mask is a new ability Hisoka developed in his last game, Mask or Menace. It is an extension of 'Texture Surprise' in that it is purely for deceit purposes and has no real affect in combat.
Using Lovely Mask Hisoka is essentially able to copy anyone's face or build up a new appearance by use of his aura. While Texture Surprise is best for copying someone's skin colour and texture, as well as any marks like tattoos or even the appearance of piercings etc, Lovely Mask goes a step further.
By smoothing his aura over the face of any individual, this can either be done directly on their face or from a short distance, Hisoka 'coats' the other individual's face in his aura. Sticks it. And 'peels' it. The gesture imprints that individuals face into his Nen and remembers it, copies it, and can be used on himself any time after.
Through more training and use, Hisoka is now able to edit and create his own 'masks' using his Nen, and will no longer have to copy them from others. Though copying them from different people will always be easier than recreating a face, or making one on his own. He is also able to shift the appearance of his stature and build, though he is still working on better disguising his height.

Rubber-Rouser (Porter gained Ability)
Hisoka's body is able to stretch like rubber/gum, as if the qualities he applied to his aura has now become a part of his body as a whole. Unlike his aura be cannot stick himself to things, but he now can stretch and bend much easier and drastically. The amount he can stretch is not limitless but it's pretty damn far, though the further he is stretched out the more exhausted he can become. Wring his arm around a light post 5 times, he's fine, go closer to ten, or twenty? And he'll have a hard time shrinking it back as fast and will need to rest. Aura = rubber, now body = rubber.
This also makes him hard to really break as his bones and everything inside it stretchier as well. His bones can still break of course, but can now bend and fold much more than the usual skeleton. This includes his muscles and well- everything. Considering they have to stretch along with his arm, torso, what have you.
Power Empathy (Porter gained Ability)
The ability to get a general sense of someone else's powers/capabilities. He isn't able to know exacts about someone's abilities, but can see them for more of what they are. If someone is extremely strong physically, he can get a sense of it. Able to assume they can lift a bus, or even a plane without needing to actually see it, but won't know exactly what their range is. He is able to sense when someone is physically stronger than someone else, or faster, or endurant, etc.
This also works with more specific abilities as well, but again he won't know things exactly, just a jist. Though in any situation where he is finding out what someone can do/what they're abilities are, he needs to focus on them for at least ten minutes beforehand, scoping them out. In this period he can't lose sight of them throughout the ten minutes.
EX: Hisoka is sitting on a bench looking around at people. There is someone nearby that has the ability to become completely invisible, and can even choose to make their whole body invisible, or just parts of their body, who can also make people they are touching invisible. For some reason Hisoka finds them interesting enough or has some other reason to pick them and concentrate on them. He does for ten minutes without losing sight of them. Hisoka then gets a sense that they are very good at hiding themselves and able to help others hide. This could lead him to assume they can become invisible, or have experience with stealth and teaching others it, etc. But he will not know for sure.
EX2: Hisoka concentrates on someone who has the ability to manipulate and generate electricity and even become electricity. He doesn't know how much electricity they can generate or even if they can generate it or just control it after taking it from somewhere else, or how it is generated if at all, but gets a sense that they have an affinity for the element and can possibly control it by unspecified means.
The sense he gets will depend on the player of the character. I'll ask them if he can use this on them, and what sort of thing he senses as far as their powers are concerned.

♣ KILLUA PORTED OUT ▪ ▪ Always off limits really, but while Killua and Hisoka spent time in this new world, Illumi certainly was't around to lay down any laws. Oddly enough, Hisoka spoke to and spent more time with Killua than he ever did the other boy, Gon, and slowly he started to really appreciate Killua's own potential. Perhaps he always managed to be out-shined, standing next to Gon. But there certainly was a reason Illumi was so intense about his younger brother. Killua had quite a future for himself. He hoped he kept alongside Gon as well, he doubts Killua would ever make the same same strides if he wasn't friends with that boy. |
♣ JOSEPH  trickstar ▪ ▪ A Jojo from Jojo land, but probably his least favorite one. They just keep being at odds, and not even fun odds. Joseph can be cute and entertaining but maybe the bullshit is just stacked too high between the two of them for it to go well. Either way Hisoka's still amused by him and thus sticking around, though it's tough to say for how long. With Joseph the surface catches the eye, and even a little bit deeper, but if Hisoka sees any fruther than that he might just drop trying with him all together. Is it really worth the effort? |
♥ DORIAN  brushoff ▪ ▪ While Lancer's his like minded friend for fighting, Dorian is about the same thing for sex. Hisoka has little to no interest in actually fighting this man, and knows that if he tried he might lose interest in Dorian all together. But flirting with and fucking him? Deeeefinitely worth his time. Dorian is entertaining and charming and just as flippant and indulgent as he is. He makes it easy to get his rocks off and actually enjoy the night without anything else weighing him down. |
♦ KIMBLEE  extirpations ▪ ▪ While Kimblee held his interest for a while, the man quickly moved down on his list as soon as they fought. Still, his alchemy is quite the spectacle, and while Hisoka enjoys watching him use it, he was rather unimpressed by the man in battle. Fun but. Eh, it was fun once. Exploding things is exciting at first, but once you see it a few times it loses it's allure. Ever hear of a one trick pony, Kimblee? Don't you have anymore? Still, he's interested in getting one more out of the guy, if only to steal another one of those fancy stones from him. |
♣ JAIME  khajidont ▪ ▪ A boy full of surprises, Hisoka's only had a few encounters with him but it's been enough to want to see more. He can tell there's definitely more than meets the eye with this boy. He's powerful, as he's seen from a small fight they got into when Hisoka first arrived, though he's yet to see Jaime's true potential or any of his 'secrets'. Both which he's very much interested in seeing more of. Unfortunately the boy seems to be rather scared of him. And instead of that pushing Jaime to overcome his fear, it's kind of been pulling them apart. Rather disappointing, if it continues moving in that way, Hisoka's interest in him may drop completely. Or one day he might just do something to make Jaime snap. He hasn't quite chosen yet. |
♣ Abduxel  abduxel ▪ ▪ A demon. Honestly that should be enough to get Hisoka's interest. But he didn't know that till after a game of poker. And a game of poker was really all he needed to know he wanted to play a bit more. And they did. A few times. Play as in sleep together. And it's been fun! Hisoka learns more and more about the 'man's' abilities, though the more he learns the less he's interested personally. Abilities not honed, not really trained, and earned. Gotten through sacrifice yes, but not the sort of sacrifice that really makes someone impressive. Still, Abduxel keeps things fresh and simple- except once when he didn't. And he forced Hisoka to mentally reveal to the both of them who he's been slowly growing feelings for, which only seemed to force his and that person's (Chrollo) relationship further. Now it's difficult for him to be as curious, not wanting to reveal more than he has, but at the same time still curious. Perhaps it all will end when he finally knows the limit of what Abduxel can do, and uses it. |
♦ Caesar  glampop ▪ ▪ He uses rippled and shoots bubbles. It's interesting and ridiculous but amusing enough to keep Hisoka nipping at his heels. Still, he doesn't see much changing for them, and doubts Caesar will really surprise him much more in the future. Still. He's nice to look at, and that look he gets in his eye when he's really trying it lovely. |
♥ JONATHAN  fistofthejoestar ▪ ▪ Another of those Jojos, and another of the rare people that purely interest Hisoka without him drooling at the mouth. That isn't to say he didn't want a fight from Jonathan. He did. Just look at that form. But once was enough. And while 'once is enough' usually leads Hisoka to losing interest, something about Jonathan is just so... attractive. Maybe it's that innocence in him, the almost stupid degree innocence, but he likes interacting with him. Something tells him he'll continue to get to as well, even if Joseph learns how terrible he is. He's just. A big lovable dog. Maybe Hisoka's a dog person. |
♣ REVAN  exsithstential ▪ ▪ A man deeply interested in playing hard to get. Hisoka first met Revan after stumbling upon his 'secret' workshop. Stumbling upon because he really wasn't looking but still- boy did it manage to piss Revan off. That little moment of rage is what Hisoka clings to now as he continues to interact with the man. Though again, Revan definitely enjoys yanking his chain. Hisoka's honestly no better, allowing him to do it, even going as far to agree to an alliance between the two of them, if only to get closer to Revan. He wants him, wants more of him, it's just been annoyingly difficult to get close enough. You'd think a guy'd throw a dog a bone once and a while or something. |
♥ YURI  PORTED OUT ▪ ▪ While he's a ghost in the past, Hisoka still remembers him, which says something. Yuri was intriguing from the started, having heard of Hisoka's reputation and spoken to him, Yuri visited him in jail. From the start the two of them wanted at eachother's throats though playful spoke around the subject, flirting with eachother in the most sinister of ways. Either of them did get their wish though- in a way. While they both wished for eacother's death, neither got it, but Hisoka got quite a fight. And not only that? But he managed to capture and hand Yuri over to Chrollo, allowing Chrollo to copy his powers. Rather easier to overcome in battle, but the mania Yuri had when he fought, the violent need in him imprinted on Hisoka. Even made him miss him a little. |
♣ GIORNO  goldenlegacy ▪ ▪ His employer and 'friend?' Giorno is interesting to say the least, though there's almost this- lack of fire in him that manages to keep Hisoka calm around him. Giorno is definitely impressive, and his blood relation to Dio has Hisoka intrigued. Still- something about the boy is just a little... ah... Stale? Which actually says quite a lot considering Hisoka still likes to spend time with him. Giorno certainly has his moments. That and it's nice to have more people around who Hisoka can be more of himself around. Giorno sure seems to put up with a lot of shit. |
♥ DIO  PORTED OUT ▪ ▪ One of the first truly interesting people Hisoka met in this new world, Dio crossed paths with him while Hisoka was on a killing spree. Immediately Hisoka attempted to fight him, only to be quickly dodge and in response to something Hisoka said, make the encounter quickly turn sexual. Of course Hisoka took interest, and they often found themselves flopping down on something together to pass the time. Dio might not know it, and Hisoka hardly cares to revisit the moment, but Dio offering such a thing to Hisoka definitely helped him keep busy enough to not make that killing spree as terrible as it could have been. Eventually Hisoka did manage to find out what Dio was capable off powers wise, and assisted Chrollo is stealing these abilities from him. A fond memory of Dio perhaps? Because the man ported out not long after. |
♥ SHADE  foreshadower ▪ ▪ The Shade was one of the very few reasons Hisoka managed to keep himself controlled during his time in prison. Often did they speak, and while Hisoka never got to see what Shade was capable of, his intelligence and cleverness caught his interest. Even now Hisoka enjoys his company and has yet to have any urge to get physical with him. Shade's interest in food has even started to rub off on him and Hisoka continues to him here and there to merely spend time with him. Though it's only a matter of time before his curiosity gets the better of him. He's seen glimpses of what the man can do, how useful it could be... |
♣ KATE  PORTED OUT ▪ ▪ A fleeting romance that would never be~ Mostly because Kate was both into women and greatly disliked Hisoka- with good reason. Still, before she managed to disappear, Hisoka got a date out of her. It was unfortunate he never got anything else though. She had such promise... |
♥ CHROLLO cephalothorax ▪ ▪ In the beginning, it was easy. He wanted him, that was obvious. Wanted to fight him, so much so that he pretended to be in his band of thieves for years just to get close enough to him. Hisoka never managed to get that fight though, and when he finally got close? When the secret was out when he was found to be but a false limb of the Spider, that group, and he finally got close to Chrollo? He only ended up finding out the Troupe Leader lost his Nen. Disappointment. But Hisoka's desire to fight him never died, not when there was still a possibility of getting Chrollo's Nen back. So a deal was struck. He'd help him get his powers back. And Hisoka would get his fight. And then they were here, suddenly, in this new world. Chrollo indeed had his powers back but not to their full potential. Again they met, again they struck a deal. Though this one was different. Hisoka would help Chrollo in general, regain more powers, power he lost, be an ally but only so much. And in return Chrollo would keep Hisoka 'entertained', keep him out of trouble, quell that bloodlust, and eventually give Hisoka the fight he's desired for so long. But all that's just an intro. Things have changed. 'Quell' that bloodlust meant more than just busy Hisoka and fill his time, to Hisoka it meant more, it meant intimacy. He wanted flesh and blood and if he wasn't going to get them in a fight, he'd do with something just and primal. Perhaps it was a mix of the sex and just the massive amount of time they've spent together. Either way something's changed for him as far as the other man's concerned. Chrollo isn't someone he just wants a fight from anymore, though he always wanted all of him. To kill him, to take his last breath from him, but now 'all' has become really that. Hisoka's never been around someone so much in such a small amount of time. Never allowed himself to grow truly fond of someone, and here? It's actually happened for once. Around someone he finds so intriguing and impressive near daily that it's difficult to take his eyes off him without keeping the image of him in his mind. He won't say it. But then he doesn't need to. If he's ever been able to love someone, Chrollo's made that possible. And still Hisoka would kill him, though, perhaps now, only because death doesn't matter as much. |

♦ JOLYNE  seesthestars ▪ ▪ A girl Hisoka only has interest in due to their own similar interest in Chrollo. A few times Hisoka's spoken to Jolyne and while he wasn't exactly impressed (hadn't seen enough to be), he still found himself wanting a little more. Not only that, but he got to witness a fight between her and Chrollo and if anything could get him interested in someone, that would. Still, now he mostly knows her through name and reputation. After all, he IS fucking her boyfriend, Chrollo's bound to talk about her sometimes. |
♥ ILLUMI pinpricks ▪ ▪ Illumi has always been Hisoka closest 'friend'. And by that I mean someone he quite often trades favours with. Illumi is entertaining and emotionally detached from everyone else but his family enough to make it easy to spend time with him without worrying about anything more developing. Powerful, smart, rich, Illumi's a great 'friend' to have when you like having someone easy to get ahold of that you can use. |
♥ JOSUKE  unbreaker ▪ ▪ A boy of many talents and many roles. Josuke has become a lot to Hisoka very quickly, but of course he would! Their relationship started out with cards and gambling, it was made to be. There was just more gambling in their future, bets and favours, illegally supplying underaged youths with alcoholic beverages, fights, stealing- or right, he did help Chrollo take Josuke's ability at some point too. And honestly? Hisoka kind of hopes the boy never finds out. He's been much to fun, and Hisoka still needs to get all his favours from him! That and it'd be a shame not to have Josuke around to play dice games with anymore. |
♣ CU  lucke ▪ ▪ An like minded play thing, Lancer has incredible potential, and to date has given Hisoka his best fight in this new world. What Lancer is capable of is extremely alluring and definitely leaves Hisoka wanting more. More fights really. Hot damn it's nice to have someone so willing to put out. Like- fights put out. He honestly gets enough of the other putting out. Not that anything's ever enough for Hisoka. Though making adult implications during said fights and otherwise continues to be amusing, Lancer's a pretty jumpy guy. Reminds Hisoka a but of Jaime. |
♥ GON PORTED OUT ▪ ▪ Someone Hisoka met during his second time taking the Hunter Exam in his home world, Gon continues to be a a surprise each time they meet. A fountain of seemingly unlimited potential, Gon excites him over and over again, something he hasn't felt this intense since he first took interest in Chrollo. Something about Gon... shines. Burns, makes it seem like he'll truly become something one day, or could. So Hisoka's watched him. Even pushed him. Gave Gon a desire to become stronger, to become more, and in a way, is the reason both Gon and Killua ever learned to use their Nen at such an early age. Hisoka's interest in Gon exceeds most, even to the point where he's developed a need to protect and save him, only to make sure he ripens into something truly worth it to kill one day. He's felt the same even in this new world, though Gon's time there was fleeting. Hisoka nearly got to begin training and helping Gon work on his Nen after the boy asked him, only for him to be ported out soon after. How disappointing. It's often that Hisoka finds himself thinking of that entrancing boy, even hopes he'll return, only so he can continue to watch him develop. |
